Stewart, Reid & Co. utilises “true” executive search methodology. We have styled our manner of operation along the lines of the international search firms. However, we have a major point of differentiation from these firms in that we believe the executive search process is applicable throughout the organisational structure of our clients, not just at the most senior levels of management.
It is our belief that executive search is the most effective method of recruitment, being a better method of identifying potential candidates than networking or advertising.
The process is time consuming and labour intensive, but produces results superior to advertised selection at little extra cost to the client. Our process of researching, targeting and fully qualifying highly skilled and successful people, consistently produces superior candidates for our clients. This process also ensures that searches are closed successfully. In order to maintain our high standard of customer service, we have made a conscious decision to work closely with a limited number of clients within the various segments of the finance industry. Our approach differs from our competitors in that we do not seek to undertake ad-hoc assignments as they arise from a wide range of sources. Our strict adherence to this policy means we are able to keep the available pool of candidates as large as possible for our clients. Because we work closely with our clients, we develop an understanding of their culture and objectives, which is invaluable in fully qualifying candidates.
