Michael ReidBEc MCom

Michael Reid graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in Economics. He subsequently completed a Master of Commerce, majoring in Finance at the University of New South Wales. Prior to founding Stewart, Reid & Co. in 1996, Michael spent twelve years trading in international financial markets, principally Foreign Exchange and Commodities in Sydney and New York. Michael has held senior trading and management positions with a number of international investment banks. Through his experience in banking, Michael has developed a thorough knowledge of products in Treasury, Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, which he brings to Stewart, Reid & Co. Michael provides specialist recruitment services for clients in Funds Management, Investment Banking, Infrastructure and Energy. In addition, Michael has also developed an understanding of the Information Technology industry through his experience as a Director and COO of a start-up technology company focusing on the development of software applications.

Deborah M. ReidBBus

Deborah Reid has over 20 years experience in executive search and recruitment. She graduated after completing a Bachelor of Business degree at the University of Texas in Austin, with a double major in Marketing and Petroleum Land Management. Upon graduation, Deborah moved to New York where she worked as an Oil Analyst for a global oil conglomerate. Deborah started her career in the recruitment industry in New York, where she joined an executive search firm and began specializing in financial services. During her time in New York, Deborah placed middle and senior level executives in New York, London and Tokyo, principally in Treasury, Capital Markets, Investment Banking and Stockbroking. Since her arrival in Australia in 1989, Deborah has developed a reputation as an expert in recruitment for the Funds/Wealth Management and Superannuation industries.
